40 hours per week. Starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm on a Monday to Friday basis, however, flexibility required to work outside of these hours to suit business needs.

We are now recruiting for a Trunking Administration Manager to join us. Reporting to the Primary Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the administration of a team of 4 direct reports and the wider primary logistics team including a fleet of 51 vehicles and 130 trailers, covering over 400 customer delivery outlets, delivering 1.5 million barrels each year!

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Day-to-day execution & management of all administration tasks within the team.
  • Ensure admin team are equipped to support the wider primary logistics operations function.
  • Customer focused approach to dealing with delivery queries and challenges.
  • Ensure you and the team maintain accurate and up to date transport documentation involving the control of large amounts of paperwork, credits and debits.
  • Compile daily reports and KPI’s.
  • Ensure your team receive regular one to one meetings in line with the company’s development cycle and expectations.
  • Delegate tasks accordingly to suit the desired objectives.
  • Manage specific aspects of CMBC’s contract service and third-party logistics functions.
  • First class communication, comfortable with liaising with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Accurate financial management of CMBC’s haulage partners.
  • Oversight of export and pallet management functions within the team.
  • Manage the Admin teams Holidays and absences.
  • Management of expenses system for logistics staff.
  • Comply with CMBC’s process confirmation checklists to manage performance within the team.

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience working within administration in a logistics or trunking setting.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to highlight areas for improvement and challenge poor performance where necessary.
  • IT Literate with experience using MS Office essential and SAP preferred.
  • Presentation skills with experience analysing skill gaps and delivering training sessions to your team on both one to one and group basis.
