Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Ice Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK.  As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed. 

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Warehouse Manager Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure all staff are trained in safe systems of work, monitoring compliance.
• Conduct accident and near miss investigations, obtaining statements and photographic evidence where necessary and generating action plans as appropriate.
• Ensure scheduled racking inspections take place in line with health and safety requirements and are followed up where recommendations are made.
• Day to day responsibility for warehouse resource allocation.
• Ensure supervisors are completing return to work meetings and inductions.
• Ensure the team is well engaged and up to date with communications
• Work with shift supervisors to ensure proper maintenance of warehouse team absence and holiday allocation.
• Ownership of stock integrity and compliance with all related company procedures and processes.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Experience managing both people and processes
• IT literate with experience working with SAP and MS Office
• Health and Safety Training
• Previous experience working within an FMCG
• Previous experience working within the drinks and / or brewing industry desirable.
• Problem solving, planning and people development skills
• Financial Awareness and cost control experience
• Is accountable for their responsibilities and deliverables and inspires others to be the same
• Role models honest and respectful feedback in a way that inspires change
