Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the role:
As Account Manager, you will work alongside/support the Senior National Account Manager to manage the relationship with Booker nationally, for Carlsberg Britvic’s total drinks portfolio with a focus on Retail, Cash & Carry and Digital performance. Supporting with and implementing effective promotional strategies and executing brand plans – you will be the catalyst behind the delivery of the P&L and thriving customer relationships.
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for an Account Manager – Total Drinks. Reporting to the National Account Manager - Booker, this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Work closely with your manager in the creation of an account contact strategy and then manage its execution to drive and capitalise further business opportunities.
- Execute and support in the development of commercial plans for the Carlsberg Britvic total drinks portfolio to deliver against budgets for Booker total drinks retail segment.
- Build strong customer relationships to deliver excellence in price, promotion, branding and point of purchase – including, online, depot and retail/ outlet availability.
- Build inspiring relationships with internal stakeholders — including our field sales teams — bringing our plans and brands to life in a way that motivates, energises, and aligns teams behind shared commercial goals.
- Develop and unlock strategic growth plans across Booker’s platforms, such as Scoot, as well as driving visibility and utilisation of Carlsberg Britvic’s At Your Convenience platform for retailers.
- Working alongside the customer marketing and digital teams to drive the overall marketing strategy — ensuring seamless execution that drives visibility, conversion, and awareness across B2B and B2C touchpoints.
- Create a collaborative, cross functional network to unlock further business opportunities - relationship building in depots and outlets to build knowledge and insight and any learnings that can be applied to your current portfolio.
- Proactively review and understand performance of Booker Total Drinks P&L – understanding the key drivers of performance to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.
- Ensure all investment is evaluated and using appropriate ROI tools, reviewing accordingly.
