Location: Field Based – National travel across the North, specifically Blackburn & Mansfield
Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the role:
We’re excited to be recruiting an EHS Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with all legal, local, and organisational EHS requirements while supporting our sites on their safety journey.
We’re looking for a driven, experienced individual who enjoys working across multiple sites, partnering with operational teams, and contributing to a positive and collaborative safety culture. You’ll work closely with the wider EHS function as well as both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent standards and continuous improvement across the business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support EHS performance reviews by analysing trends, identifying improvements, and actively participating in problem‑solving activities.
- Work collaboratively with contractors and service providers to ensure full alignment and compliance with local safety systems.
- Ensure full legal compliance as a minimum standard, promoting best practice across all operational teams.
- Support the delivery of the site Safety, Health & Environmental strategy, helping deliver against key milestones and reporting progress.
- Educate, coach, and empower site teams on all aspects of EHS — from responsibilities and performance to risks, liabilities, and opportunities.
- Assist in incident investigations, ensuring strong root‑cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective actions.
- Implement Carlsberg Group and CMBC EHS policies and standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting delivery.
- Work closely with site teams to develop, deliver, and monitor EHS action plans, ensuring progress is sustained and meaningful.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of QSHE systems.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience driving safety culture and leading change.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident representing EHS matters in operational and cross‑functional meetings.
- Proven experience in implementing and leading safety initiatives.
- Previous experience within a logistics environment is preferred.
- Experience implementing H&S management systems or ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Experience working collaboratively with site teams to develop and deliver EHS action plans.
- Working towards the NEBOSH Diploma.
- IOSH membership desirable
