About the role: 

We are now recruiting for a Head of Direct to Consumer, which will be responsible for our ecommerce proposition and will own the day-to-day trading activity for plenishdrinks.com and aqualibra.com.

Maintaining the agility, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up, backed by scale and ambition of a global beverage powerhouse.

 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Own the DTC P&L and deliver commercial performance against revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build and manage weekly, monthly, and annual sales forecasts to drive predictable growth.
  • Develop the annual trading plan across product, pricing, and promotional strategy.
  • Lead weekly trading reviews, identifying risks and opportunities with clear action plans.
  • Provide high‑quality reporting and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and launch new revenue channels across DTC, marketplaces, and B2B ecommerce.
  • Maintain a full view of ecommerce performance across all channels to inform DTC strategy.
  • Own DTC site performance, optimising CVR, AOV, subscriptions, and overall customer journey.
  • Lead subscription and loyalty strategies to grow acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Own CRO and continuous optimisation, supported by agency and internal team collaboration.
  • Manage TikTok Shop and social commerce, ensuring alignment with brand and revenue goals.
  • Lead end‑to‑end DTC operations, including fulfilment, demand planning, and stock management.
  • Oversee customer service and consumer engagement teams to deliver premium experiences and improve NPS.
  • Drive ongoing operational efficiency and cost optimisation without compromising customer quality.

 

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Proven DTC ecommerce experience with revenue growth beyond £4M.
  • Strong track record in building and scaling subscription, loyalty, and retention programmes.
  • Experience driving B2B ecommerce and online wholesale channels.
  • Skilled at launching new revenue streams, including marketplaces, social commerce, and partnerships.
  • Hands-on experience managing TikTok Shop and other social commerce platforms, including agency management.
  • Strong SEO capability across technical optimisation, content strategy, and organic growth.
  • Operational expertise in forecasting, inventory, and fulfilment.
  • Experience managing customer service and consumer engagement teams.
  • Deep knowledge of CRO and performance optimisation.
  • Experienced people leader with a history of developing high-performing teams.
  • Technical skills and understanding in Google Analytics, Shopify, CRO tools, Advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong project management and prioritisation capability with high levels of accountability, organisation, and personal effectiveness.
