Location: Field Based – weekly travel is expected to our head office in Hemel Hempstead, customer visits and other Carlsberg Britvic sites when needed

About the role:

We are now recruiting for a National Account Manager for the Morrisons account. Leading the commercial negotiations and develop tailored strategic and tactical plans for key accounts, ensuring the successful delivery for volume, profit and market share targets.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual strategic planning for Morrisons, shaping customer‑specific plans that drive commercial and strategic objectives.
  • Own and negotiate the Joint Business Plan, delivering key targets across volume, revenue, profit, distribution, and share.
  • Execute brilliant in‑store activation, deploying best‑in‑class point‑of‑purchase plans and ensuring customer needs are fed into central teams.
  • Build strong, influential relationships across Morrisons buying teams (Core Estate, Morrisons Dailys, Online) and run regular business reviews.
  • Track performance proactively, identifying issues early and implementing smart corrective actions to maximise results.
  • Lead the collaborative forecasting process, ensuring accurate internal and external forecasts and adjusting plans as required.
  • Take full ownership of the Morrisons P&L, creating effective investment plans and managing budgets to maximise ROI.
  • Maintain operational excellence, ensuring accurate invoicing, claims, promotions, and system data across commercial platforms.

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Ideally managed relationships with Grocers.
  • Strong commercial acumen – building effective and powerful commercial propositions and mutually beneficial account plans, translating these into actions.
  • Passionate about providing high service levels to our customers and growing our brands and channels in the market.
  • Track record of excellent performance within an FMCG business.
  • Ability to build effective customer relationships that thrive and can manage internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Good understanding of account and financial management concepts, from S&OP planning through to invoice receipt.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills – always thinking strategically.
  • Responsive to changes and always ensures continuous improvement.
