Job Title: National Account Manager - ASDA OFT
Location: Field Based – with national travel to customers / office sites
Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Ice Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a National Account Manager. Reporting to the National Account Controller this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage own customers with a high level of interaction
- Experience in interfacing at a senior level in scale businesses with strong networking and influencing skills
- Track record of excellent performance over some years in FMCG manufacturer and/or retailer
- Experience of developing energising relationships across functions to enable customer plans that deliver results
- Good understanding of financial concepts across relevant channels
- Ability to build mutually beneficial account plans translating these into actions and tactics
- Collaboration with peers to build a robust and reliable Sales & Operational Plan (S&OP)
- Understanding of all significant processes that underpin from planning through to invoice receipt
- Obsession about growing brands and channels, providing high service levels to customers
- High levels of accountability for plans, action, delivery and outcome
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Previous experience working with top grocery customers, top four is essential.
- Focused on building the business, managing the customer strategy and relationship, in both own customers and your report/s
- Performance and results focused with the ability and passion to deliver against challenging targets and timescales and channel the same behaviours with your report/s
- You will demonstrate true entrepreneurial spirit, someone comfortable with ambiguity and capable of thinking big
- Working to exceptionally high standards and leading by example
- You will need a huge desire to make a material difference, and will possess the tenacity to have the tough conversations that make things happen
- Passionate about the business and driven to deliver for the organization
- Ability to work cross functionally and lead/contribute across the virtual teams
- Results oriented with a passion for driving initiatives to completion and delivering on all commitments
- High levels of Initiative - Agile/Street Smart/Entrepreneurial to respond to changes in the market or internally
- Able to develop accountability down the structure and enable teams to drive their part of the business without unnecessary interference
