Field Based, with travel across our logistics network.

Permanent

40 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, however flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary depending on location of work. Flexibility required to work outside of these times to suit business needs.

Closing date for applications is Tuesday 20th August with interviews taking place on Thursday 22nd. Interviews will take place via Microsoft Teams and will last approximately 1 hour, including a 10 minute “Who Am I?” presentation, 15 minute presentation on a H&S topic and 35 minute competency based questions section.

We are now recruiting for a National MHE Trainer to join us. Reporting to the Health and Safety (H&S) Manager, this role will be responsible for working with the management and H&S team to provide skills required to train out teams of Distribution and Warehouse Operatives to ensure that high standards of practice and H&S are achieved across the network:

Key Accountabilities:

Oversee large teams of Warehouse Operatives across multiple depots, ensuring all relevant qualifications and training are standardised, maintained and up to date.
Shaping and managing the SHE compliance and continuous improvement programs within CMBC Supply Chain.
Ensure full compliance to support CMBC MHE Training.
Completing training in groups and on 1 to 1 basis.
Provide and create supporting training materials as and when required.
Working with the senior management team to achieve operations objectives, such as fuel usage efficiency targets.
Ensure all risk assessments, training records, licences and other Health and Safety documentation is check periodically and kept up to date. Follow up actions as necessary.
Provide first line support and direction to both the local based management and staff in your area of work.

Experience and Key Attributes:

Previous experience of standardising complex training practices and procedures.
Experience managing a diverse team with varying responsibility and capability levels.
RTITB Instructor Training or equivalent.
IT Literate.
Previous experience training or coaching at both a group and 1 on 1 level.
Knowledge of MHE Compliance.
Flexibility to travel to conduct training sessions across the UK.
IOSH Certification, NEBOSH Certification or similar desirable.
