Field Based – National travel across our Southern Sites (Thurrock, Farnborough, Tiverton, Bedford, Cardiff)

Permanent – Full Time

We are now recruiting for an SHE Specialist to join us. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, this role will be responsible for current legal, local, and other requirements that may affect the commercial company.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Support HSE performance reviews, identify trends, initiates, and participates in problem solving activities.
  • Liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure their compliance with local systems.
  • Ensure legal compliance as a minimum.
  • Support in the delivery of the site safety, health, and environment strategy, deliver against plan & provide progress against plan.
  • Educate and inform the site teams with regards to SH&E including liabilities, performance, risk, and opportunities.
  • Support investigations and ensure suitable corrective actions based on root cause.
  • Responsible to implement Carlsberg Group and CMBC HSE Policies and standards, to recommend CI improvement plans, support and follow implementation.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of relevant QSHE systems
  • Leadership skills with a proven track record of change management in driving safety improvements.
  • Communicates effectively to all levels of the organisation. Able to have impact and influence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills & ability to attend relevant meetings representing HSE matters/updates.
  • A specialist in safety with in-depth experience of implementing and leading safety
  • Previous experience within logistics preferred
  • Working towards NEBOSH Diploma would be beneficial
  • IOSH Membership desirable
