Value Manager
Title: Value Manager – On Trade
Location: Hybrid working – weekly travel to our offices
Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Value Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Key Accountabilities:
- Development of the On Trade Pricing Framework
- Develop collation & use of RSP data in customer proposals
- Manage Trade Terms & Deal Evaluation, providing additional support on pricing, deal structure & trade terms for On Trade tenders
- Work alongside the Category team on building commercial arguments for ranging recommendations
- Develop Promotional effectiveness insights and recommendations where appropriate
- Create and implement software, tools, and processes to support business needs and our VM strategy
- In partnership with Finance & Sales Support functions, evolve and build tools and processes that support our value management objectives
- Ensure there is an appropriate review & control framework in place around tenders, price changes & investments
- Develop commercial capability in sales team ensuring strong stakeholder relationships
- Advance the account team understanding of profit pools, value management levers and conditionality
- Support in driving the understanding of profit drivers in internal P&Ls
- Support development of price, volume, mix (PVM) optimisation
- Establish & promote best practice in building customer trade terms
Experience and Key Attributes required:
- Previous experience of Revenue Management or a Pricing Role or a similar role in the beer industry – desirable but not essential
- Experience of commercial deal structures via a Sales or Finance role
- Ability to quickly build relationships & influence
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically
- Confident to work solo, but adaptable to work within a team
- Flexible, & comfortable in a changing environment
- Strong presentation & communication skills
- Good attention to detail
