Job Title:                        Commercial Industrial Placement

Location:                        Hemel Hempstead (approximately 3 days a week onsite, with ad hoc travel expected)
Placement Length:        12 Months starting July 2027
Salary:                             £25,000 per year
Working Hours:             35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About Carlsberg Britvic

Carlsberg Britvic is a dynamic multi-beverage business, home to some of the UK’s best-known beers and soft drinks. Formed in January 2025, the business brings together an extensive portfolio across beer, low and no alcohol, and soft drinks, including brands such as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Robinsons, Tango, J2O, Fruit Shoot, London Essence, Plenish and Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, alongside licensed favourites including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Ice Tea, Rockstar and Gatorade. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in 4th February 2027. The process will include interviews, group exercises and presentations.

We are looking for students to join us on 26th July 2027 as part of their university placement year.

About the Role

Our Commercial Industrial Placement offers the chance to gain hands-on experience within one of our major customer teams, working alongside experienced commercial professionals and some of the UK's biggest retailers, hospitality operators and wholesalers.

With opportunities available across both our On Trade and Off Trade businesses, you'll gain valuable insight into how iconic brands are sold, marketed and grown in a highly competitive FMCG environment.

Depending on your placement, you could support customers across hospitality, leisure and entertainment venues or work with leading grocery, convenience and wholesale retailers. You'll work closely with Account Managers and Commercial teams to help deliver customer plans, analyse performance, identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making.

From day one, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities and given exposure to real business challenges. You'll gain first-hand experience of how customer relationships are managed, how commercial plans are developed and how cross-functional teams work together to drive growth.

Throughout the placement, you'll receive structured support, coaching and development while building the commercial judgement, confidence and stakeholder management skills expected of future Commercial Graduates.

High-performing placement students may also be considered for a fast-track route into our Commercial Graduate Programme upon completion of their degree.

Experience and Key Attributes

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.
• Eligible to complete a 12-month industrial placement as part of your degree programme from July 2027.
• Must have the right to work full-time in the UK for the duration of the placement, as visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
