Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the role:
We are now recruiting for a Communications Manager – Content & Editorial, this role will own the corporate narrative, responsible for shaping how we tell our story internally and externally. With high visibility across our business, this role will support our leadership community through to our external audience on a broad range of topics.
Role Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve our corporate narrative, ensuring it reflects our ambition and positions us as a modern, forward‑looking business.
- Manage one direct report, supporting their development, capable of guiding them to achieve team and business objectives.
- Create high‑impact content—editorial, digital, leadership materials—that translates strategy and performance into clear, compelling stories.
- Drive thought leadership by working with External Affairs to spotlight our perspective on key industry topics.
- Bring our culture and people strategy to life, partnering with People & Culture on engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, talent, and values-led initiatives.
- Lead communications for major business programmes, including transformation, sustainability, and digital change—making complex topics simple and accessible.
- Champion editorial excellence, managing the content calendar and coaching junior team members to grow capability and confidence.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation, shaping messaging, influencing decisions, and ensuring alignment across all internal and external channels.
- Continuously improve our content, using insights and best practice to refine storytelling and enhance colleague engagement.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Strong experience in corporate communications, editorial leadership, or strategic content roles is essential.
- Proven ability to translate complex business topics into clear, engaging content
- Experience in a fast‑paced, consumer‑facing or transformation‑heavy environment is desirable
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong influencing and business partnering skills, with the ability to work confidently with stakeholders
- Confident managing senior stakeholders, able to advise, influence, and provide clear, well‑judged recommendations in high‑visibility situations
- Experience managing people and/or developing junior team members
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and challenge the status quo
- Strong familiarity with data and analytics, comfortable interpreting insights, spotting trends, and using performance metrics to shape content and decision‑making
