Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Ice Tea and Rockstar Energy.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Regional Category Manager – General Services. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager Indirect & CAPEX WE Procurement, this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

 

Role Overview:

The Regional Category Manager General Services role will develop, communicate and execute the General Services sourcing strategy in order to optimise the Total Cost of Ownership for Carlsberg Entities with a geographical focus on Western Europe.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a sourcing strategy to ensure security and TCO supply for Carlsberg, aligning this with key stakeholders whilst mapping internal/ external spending.
  • Lead negotiations with key suppliers, ensuring the highest value for Carlsberg entities.
  • Align all relevant business functions to ensure company strategy targets, continuously analysing the supply market to identify new opportunities.
  • Working cross functionally to guarantee the use of relevant strategic and tactical sourcing processes across Carlsberg Group.
  • Support local organisations and business units through secure sharing of information, always engaging in open and direct dialogue.
  • Identify and implement cost saving opportunities, requiring close cooperation and discussion with all members of the global, regional and local Carlsberg business units.
  • Act as a commercial expert and project leader on cross functional projects within the category.

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Relevant commercial experience within strategic and tactical sourcing in an indirect category is desired.
  • Experience with sourcing of indirect General Services for FMCG goods.
  • Stakeholder engagement/ management and cross functional working.
  • Analytical thinking and results focused.
  • Strong communication skills with people and change management at the core.
  • Experienced in contract negotiations and influential dialogue.
  • Strong understanding of TCO.
