About the role:

We are now recruiting for a Finance Manager – Production, this role delivers critical analysis and forward-looking inputs to month end review cycles, budgets, forecasts and product costs for the Northampton Brewery. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Breweries, you will work within a team of 5.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Partner regularly with brewery teams and analyse raw and packaging material usages, derive key insights, trends and reports, and establish action plans to optimise cost control and brewery efficiency
  • Create detailed product volume analysis for monthly reporting and also manage the more complex product volume detail for forecasting and budgeting
  • Execute cost estimating for NPD, to agreed service levels, and with accuracy and insight to assist business decision-making processes
  • Manage utilities cost forecasting and budgeting processes, with key inputs from CSS in Poland, Procurement and stakeholders
  • Manage the Finance elements of the site savings tracking, including estimating project savings and carrying out monthly tracking and verification
  • Identify key risks and opportunities for cost areas within your remit
  • Work with the local team and with our Shared Services Team in Poland to drive efficiency and effectiveness of processes and tasks

Experience and Key Attributes:

 

  • Accounting Qualification or Finance Degree is desired
  • Proven track record in financial and performance management, ideally within FMCG or beverage industry and with production or supply chain experience
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate commercial and operational factors into financial impact and vice versa
  • Skilled in SAP, Excel, data analytics, and digital tools to deliver insight and drive decision-making
  • Experience building strong working relationships with key stakeholders, influencing and driving change
  • Skilled at dealing with complex tasks to tight deadlines, who can work on their own initiative
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
