We are now recruiting for a Chief Engineer to join us. Reporting to Head Brewer.


Key Accountabilities:


· Ensure agreed scope and service level of maintenance and utilities in the local organisation

· Ensure that the Maintenance & Utilities department operates safely and in accordance with legal and group standards

· Responsible for the performance management, the short and long term development of people within the department

· Drive performance gaps closure and continuous improvement of Maintenance & Utilities KPIs through effective use of Lean TPM Methodologies

· Ensure that all Carlsberg standard methods, tools and process (Carlsberg Operational Manual) are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements

· Develop and implement the long and short term CAPEX plan for the site together with the senior management team and regional support functions

· Actively participates as part of the regional and global Maintenance & Utilities best practice community

· Accountable for the CAPEX and Maintenance budget

· Responsible for the facility management of the brewery.



Experience and Key Attributes required:

Experience within the food production or manufacturing environment.

Ideally a chartered engineering manager or a degree qualified engineer.

Good knowledge of the regulatory requirements for maintenance of equipment, utilities and facilities management.

Experience delivering performance improvement through lean TPM methodology, developing people and managing budgets.
