35 hours per week. Starting between 8am and 10am, finishing between 4pm and 6pm on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility to suit business needs.

This is an exciting time to join our head office based team as we begin the implementation of our new FleetWave systems. You will be leading this initiative, supporting both local and depot teams to ensure a smooth implementation for both our Primary Trunking and Secondary Logistics teams.

 

We are now recruiting for a Fleet Administration Manager to join us. Reporting to the National Fleet Manager, this role will be responsible for developing, coaching, and leading the administration team to ensure compliance with all H&S standards and legislative requirements whilst also working with the team to manage administrative costs, services and control of all vehicles and MHE for all Primary and Secondary operations:

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Day-to-day execution and management of the FleetWave asset management application.
  • Ensure fleet admin team are equipped to support the depot network in the use of all fleet management applications.
  • Development and delivery of training to depots of fleet management applications (FleetWave, sopp+sopp, TruTac) and MHE telematic training.
  • To support the national network to ensure we meet transport legislative requirements.
  • Maintain network fleet lists and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Manage payment of toll, LEZ and road tax accounts and fines in a timely manner, providing analysis, support, and challenge to operational team to help drive down fines.
  • Responsibility for purchasing card for above payments.
  • Ensure all sites are investigating and supplying information in a timely manner around accidents, speeding and other offences.
  • Ensure correct and proper use of the shell fuel cards and highlight any concerns.
  • Creation and reporting of fleet management related KPIs.
  • Support to national fleet manager and fleet compliance manager.
  • Support CMBC suppliers in set up and use of fleet management applications.
  • Support and develop the fleet administration team.

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Experience as a direct line manager within a logistics environment for an FMCG manufacturer and/or retail logistics business.
  • Possess an understanding of fleet management of heavy vehicles and Manual Handling Equipment.
  • Experience of coaching and developing both people and processes, building talent and capability whilst motivating and inspiring your teams.
  • Experience of implementing and continuous review of software and procedures, desirable.
  • CPC holder desirable, or willingness to train in fleet management requirements.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites across our logistics network if required.
  • IT Literate with experience using MS Office (essential) and other fleet management software (desirable).
  • Ability to highlight opportunities for improvement and/or challenge poor performance within team and around depot network.
