Role overview

Carlsberg is establishing a new Data Protection and Privacy Management Unit within the IT organisation. As the SAP ILM/Archiving Expert you will be an important part of the team and will be responsible for developing Carlsberg’s practise for SAP Archiving and ILM. You will manage the vendors operating SAP Archiving and ILM for key SAP system, incl. quality and change management. In addition, you will perform and maintain archiving and data destruction on specific SAP systems.

 

The Data Protection and Privacy Management unit will focus on supporting Privacy Management compliance, Data Protection, and Archiving. Specifically, the Unit will manage retention and deletions in about 400 applications and ERP systems, manage SAP archiving, handle Data Subject Requests, support GDPR aspects of data breaches and apply legal holds.

 

  

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive and optimize practises for SAP data archiving and data retention policies in close collaboration with functional and solution owners cross multiple countries
  • Own and maintain the SAP Archiving and ILM solutions
  • Implement new and adjust existing SAP ILM and Archiving objects to fit changing requirements
  • Manage vendors supporting or managing the SAP ILM & Archiving operations
  • Identify and embed improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate between the SAP ILM & Archiving team, the solution owners, SAP Basis team and the functional owners in the organization.
     

What we’re looking for:

 

  • University degree
  • Strong experience with SAP platform modules as MM, FI, CO, SD, etc as well as SAP HR. 
  • Strong experience in implementing and operating SAP Archiving and ILM (including retention policy management, EoP application management, simplified blocking, SARA, PU22)
  • Good vendor management skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Good communication skills
  • Thrives in a changing and challenging environment
  • Enjoys working in a diverse, international environment.
