Business Development (BD) & Long-Term Development Program (LDP) Director, Carlsberg Denmark

As BD & LDP Director at Carlsberg Denmark, you’ll will be spearheading the strategic direction at Fredericia Brewery, ensuring safe and efficient project execution while shaping the long-term future of our site - all within a company that values growth, sustainability and a vibrant workplace culture.
The Job
As BD & LDP Director you will be a part of the Supply Chain Leadership team in Carlsberg Denmark.
Your primary role will be to align the strategic direction for the site in Fredericia, to meet customer and consumer demands in the future. This demands high competences in stakeholder management and the ability to translate the demands from stakeholders into a deployment program ensuring that timely execution of CapEx investment plans.
Your Responsibilities
In short, you’ll translate strategy into actionable projects, manage resources and budgets and guide a skilled team through continuous improvements, shaping the future of Carlsberg Denmark’s brewery.
More specifically you will;
- Own the long-term development program for Carlsberg Denmark, balancing commercial and supply chain needs.
- Lead and support a team of app. 4 direct reports and 13 employees overall
- Translate strategy into actionable projects, managing phasing, resources, and budgets
- Deliver LDP milestones on time and within budget
- Set project scope, goals, and timelines; define strategies across all project management areas (integration, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, procurement, stakeholder management)
- Ensure solutions are integrated and safe, minimizing operational impact
- Champion health and safety
- Facilitate ongoing improvement in design and execution
- Maintain project documentation and establish standards and tools
- Ensure continuous Stakeholder Management and progress reporting
Your Qualifications
You are an engaged leader with deep project management insight and the ability to deliver results by managing stakeholders and supporting others. You set a clear direction, build effective teams, and continuously seek improvements
We expect that you have:
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or business development (10+ years)
- Solid project management skills, experience within the food & beverage sector is an advantage
- Effective leadership and communication skills - able to engage across all levels and cultures
- Strategic and methodological approach, with a focus on value creation and performance improvement
- Strong senior technical understanding and knowhow, as well as system and IT understanding
