The job

As PCM Manager, you will lead and develop the team of Product Change Coordinators in Denmark. You hold end‑to‑end responsibility for ensuring successful execution of local and selected cross‑market/Group NPD projects. This includes managing realistic timelines, cost parameters and quality standards as the ISC workstream lead (ISC owner).

You will drive discipline and adherence to global process standards, the stage‑gate model, governance requirements and defined lead times. Your role is central to safeguarding the integrity of innovation projects by ensuring that documentation, process adherence and decision readiness are consistently in place throughout all project gates.

You will collaborate closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including:

  • Local Marketing teams and Global Brand Managers, who act as innovation project owners
  • Local country organisation incl. LCC (marketing, development, controlling/finance, legal etc.)
  • All functions across local and regional ISC (procurement, planning, quality, production, finance, Regional PCM)
  • Connexio Managers on projects with development tracks
  • External partners such as design agencies, DSN and regulatory bodies*

* May vary depending on local PCM setup.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of projects while leading the local product change coordination team.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the team of Product Change Coordinators
  • Planning and resourcing the NPD team to balance workload and ensure efficient execution
  • Leading the ISC workstream end‑to‑end and coordinating the execution of NPD and selected master data projects, ensuring delivery against timeline, cost and quality
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Carlsberg’s stage‑gate process and governance standards
  • Safeguarding the quality, accuracy and completeness of documents submitted for gate approvals at the Local Innovation Board or ComEx
  • Steering project teams to prepare properly for gate reviews, ensuring timely readiness and proactively escalating risks to Regional PCM
  • Participating in—and when required facilitating—the monthly local Pre‑Innovation Board meeting, including agenda preparation and governance alignment
  • Ensuring that scope and timing for innovation projects minimize obsoletes and reduce business complexity, including active contribution to SKU complexity‑reduction initiatives
  • Leading the ISC workstream for Material Master Data governance and ensuring high‑quality maintenance of master data across systems

Your qualifications

You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence and facilitate discussions at Senior Management level. You are comfortable working under tight deadlines and thrive in a highly structured, organised and dynamic environment.

You excel in leading cross‑functional initiatives, navigating internal negotiations and delivering results in a matrix setup. As a leader, you can motivate, develop and guide your team while driving continuous improvement across processes.

In addition to that, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a university degree (BSc or similar)
  • Have approx. 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry within marketing, finance, supply chain or project management
  • Possess strong business and functional acumen, including financial understanding of supply chain and P&L
  • Have working knowledge of the end‑to‑end supply chain
  • Bring strong SAP user skills
  • Have a solid track record of successful project management—preferably with a project management certification
  • Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar tools
  • Bring minimum 3 years of managerial experience in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional matrix organisation
  • Have experience working in an international and multicultural environment
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
