Role overview


As Finance Technology Manager you will play a key role, supporting Carlsberg Finance as a Finance Technology Partner.


What you’ll be doing


As a Finance Technology Partner you will:


  • Understand the customer’s needs and translate them into requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate solutions proposals.
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and Finance in general, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage
  • Understand and drive the process automation agenda.
  • Develop Finance Technology Roadmap and sync with major projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the Global Finance Technology Roadmap.
  • Manage the product pipeline and sync with the Finance Technology Roadmap.


As a Solution Architect you will:

  • Develop solution architecture guidelines for SAP Finance.
  • Ensure that the technical design, architecture and build of Finance applications are following Carlsberg guidelines, ensuring a standardized solution across relevant markets and, on request, supporting the Finance Operations team
  • Ensure that all relevant application changes are documented
  • High level cost and timeline estimation (supported by vendors) and validating vendor cost estimates
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers, architects, cyber security, operations and technology procurement.
  • Assess and address technical risks.


What we’re looking for

  • Has min. 3-4 years of experience in SAP Finance consulting.
  • Carried out 2-3 full SAP Finance implementations.
  • Communicates fluently in English (both written and spoken).
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and commercial mind-set.
  • Is analytically strong, really cares about the success of the business and their people and is ready to go ‘the extra mile’ to deliver and track the results.
  • Quickly moves ideas to action, completes plans and projects with quality and speed and, in the process, drives the company’s agenda.
