Role overview

Reporting & Compliance Team is all about financial controlling & internal controls. The team is committed to secure accuracy, completeness & transparency of financial statements reported for Supply Chain & Commercial entities from Western Europe within established timelines. We are cooperating with various stakeholders taking into account finance & business processes impacting financial data, often deploying an end-to-end perspective.

We are in search of a skilled Junior General Accounting Specialist who can contribute to our financial operations, particularly in the reporting and compliance sector.

  

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting in assuring correct transactional data in SAP (check data, identify problems, conduct process improvement to overcome root causes);
  • conductinging financial reporting to the Group;
  • taking part in the financial month-end closing process;
  • participating in continuous improvement initiatives, new technology rollouts, and process design activities;
  • preparing of management reporting for local management;
  • participating in financial planning process;
  • providing the team’s collective knowledge through preparing and updating process documentation and tracking progress of tax-relevant projects and initiatives.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who has graduated from financial/accounting studies or has worked in finance before, with a preference for candidates with experience in shared services / business process outsourcing and educational background in corporate finance;
  • Very good proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Experience with Office365 environment and has an advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Someone who is a person who proactively collaborates and strives for solutions which are win-win-win for the company, for the colleagues and for himself / herself;
  • Someone who likes to analyze, really cares about the growth of the business and their people and is ready to go ‘the extra mile’ to deliver and track the results;
