Group Internal Audit (GIA) supports the company in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of Carlsberg's governance, risk management, and internal controls. The main objective is to assist the Supervisory Board through the Audit Committee and the Executive Committee in the effective discharge of their responsibilities, in line with the GIA Charter.

Senior Auditor will be responsible for carrying out the audits in line with approved Audit Plan and the Audit Manual. This position will partner closely with various internal stakeholders within the markets, corporate office and other lines of business.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Plan, and execute group internal audits in accordance with the Audit Manual and Audit Work Program.
  • Report results of audits and communicate to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify internal control deficiencies and provide recommendations for improving the organization’s operation, in terms of both efficient and effective performance.
  • Recommend effective and efficient controls for identified weaknesses.
  • Document audit work procedures with highest quality standards. Upload the working papers on the GRC tool in a timely manner.
  • Strives for quality and excellence and encourages others to do the same. Ensuring compliance with the IIA standards.
  • Support (Senior) Audit Manager and Group Internal Audit director in relationship management with Group Function/ Markets, and quarterly reporting cycle to the Region and Audit Committee.
  • Senior Auditor is required to travel to different markets (approx. 20-30%) for performing audits and other projects.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Solid experience (+3 years) gained in other internal audit function /BIG 4/ risk management / compliance within multinational environment will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree (Finance, Business, Economics preferred)
  • Strong English Communication skills are required (Russian, French, German will be seen as an advantage).
  • Experience with end-to-end audits including all deliverables of appropriate quality on time and in compliance with IIA standards of auditing.
  • Understands the topic of law (AML, competition, trade sanctions, tax, EY Green Taxonomy, GDPR, Sexual Harassment etc.)
  • Experience in MS Office environment
  • Solid skills within risk management and design of business processes
  • Pro-active attitude towards gaining, applying and sharing technical aspects of financial, process and compliance concepts, standards, systems and reporting processes
  • Ability to apply ethical principles and values to the activities being audited
