The purpose of the position Senior Project Manager WE is to directly or indirectly supports up to 500m DKK capital

 

This role directly leads projects across WE region and responsible for projects pipeline identification and execution in the given discipline (F&P, B&P, Utility, WH, Civils)

 

Manages the standards, processes, and training to enable markets to deliver capital projects to COM using Carlsberg excellence principles and with latest best practices of the industry

 

Guide, train and develop brewery project managers to utilize standards and engineering COM and Carlberg project management model

 

Contributes to improvement of the standards and process through participating in workgroups

 

Manages supplier relationships to ensure standard adherence of the region to the regional and group supplier list

 

Provide 8 Steps leadership to market project teams

 

The position will be based in WE Region one of the Brewery. The required skills & competencies to succeed in this role are:

 

Personal qualifications / competencies:

 

  • Ability to lead virtual teams with strong coaching and training skills regardless of reporting lines (A “Can DO” attitude)
  • Cultural agility working with both shopfloor and leadership teams in different markets in WE
  • Deep understanding of the value chain across FMCG manufacturing and preferably the brewery with in-depth understanding of functional KPIs and functional levers affecting cost, quality, people, and service

Professional qualifications/ competencies :

 

  • Deep knowledge and experience in brewery filling and packaging at operational and technical standard level
  • Management tools implementation in FMCG companies
  • Deep knowledge and experience in project management and sourcing process
  • Experience using Lean, TPM, 6 sigma practices and behaviors
  • Experience on Global functional role or interfacing with
  • Good understanding of key supply chain processes with the focus on Production
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Proven experience in successful delivery of multi-country roll-out programs

Experience:

 

  • 15 plus years’ experience within a production environment role (direct responsibly) and at least with 3 years at management level proven experience in manufacturing engineering (Preferably Brewery)

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Engineering or relevant areas including brewing

 

Language:

 

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Other language preferred

 

Job responsibilities:

 

  • Directly leads projects across WE region with robust and simple to execute standards with project learnings and best practices built in including lean and continuous improvement requirements
  • Capability building and support COM implementation across region by developing and conducting training across the region
  • Communicate the progress and updates on a regular base
  • Manages supplier relationships and supplier panel for given discipline and ensure standard adherence with suppliers and regional alignment to group supplier panel
  • Realize improvements through CQV and business case outcomes
  • Ability to build business case, identify potential for savings within brewery projects and on TCO basis
  • Support building relevant group and options through technical knowhow injection to projects and champion usage of must have COM standards
  • Collaborative work on innovations with new technologies and support developments when asked for both technical development and to drive consistent development of standards alongside new tech team
  • Contributor to engineering and operational COM with specific focus on B&P and Utilities workgroups by defining technology, processes and performance as subject matter expert through COM workgroup across current and new equipment needs
  • Conducting and supporting Audits

 

Stakeholders & Relations Internal & External:

 

  • Internal: Local functional managers, Production Directors, Market ISC VPs, Regional BD&E Director, ISC Group Engineering
  • External: Suppliers, external experts in other industries or universities
