Become an engineering intern at Carlsberg

Carlsberg cooperates with several universities in Denmark. We do this to ensure that the courses are shaped to match our requirements, and to be an attractive company to get an internship in. We hire between 4-8 students a year, who get unique insight into how work is done at Denmark's largest brewery in Fredericia.

Being an engineering intern at Carlsberg involves working through a 20-week internship with a continuous engineering relevant project of varying sizes and ad hoc tasks of a more operational nature.The intern will be assigned to a department with a permanent contact person, where a monthly 1:1 will be held to evaluate the part of the internship that has been completed and, on the other hand, to have the possibility of adjusting the tasks for the remaining part of the internship. It will also be in the context of the monthly 1:1 that the possibilities for graduate projects are discussed. It requires a prior internship in order to be allowed to write a graduation project for Carlsberg. The graduation project will typically be based on an issue that the student himself has identified during the internship.

Several of our former engineering interns have been offered full-time positions after the course, and we are very proud of our good cooperation with the universities, which just creates a unique link between education and work experience.
