Digital Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. You will collaborate with stakeholders to map existing system data and define data integration and transformation requirements for the project team.

You will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team. Additionally, you will recommend process improvements, define data integration testing strategies with QA, conduct market research, maintain documentation, and facilitate integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the product meets stakeholder expectations.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

You will play a critical role on one of Carlsberg’s major global programmes, which has an objective to roll out a best of breed supply and demand planning solution across our 30+ core markets. Initially your key focus will be on mapping data in our market legacy systems to match them with the data requirements of the new system.

Furthermore, you will have the following focus areas in your role: 

  • Requirements Elicitation: Gathering and documenting detailed functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders and vendors through interviews, workshops, surveys, and analysing existing documentation.
  • Process Analysis: Analyzing current data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Solution Design: Collaborating with project teams to design solutions that meet business needs and aligning with project objectives.
  • Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Testing Support: Assisting in developing test plans and test cases, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Change Management: Supporting change management activities by preparing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinating with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to project timelines.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making processes.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Market Research: Staying updated on industry trends and competitor products to inform product decisions.

 

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, we imagine that you possess:

  • Experience working in IT system integration projects (especially with data mapping)
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to ensure and develop a strong data driven culture and approach
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams).
  • CPG or FMCG supply chain experience is a plus.
