Join Carlsberg as a Global Compass Program Manager, where you will oversee the strategic transformation of our governance, risk, and compliance framework. You will oversee the execution of the CompassPlus program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and seamless integration across all workstreams. Your role will involve high-level reporting to senior leadership, optimizing resource allocation, and program governance. We seek a professional experienced in implementing large-scale transformation programs, with stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to promote collaboration across diverse functions. If you are knowledgeable in program governance and resource management, we invite you to be part of our team.
What you’ll be doing
The role will form part of the current global Program in Group Legal & Compliance program and change management of the CompassPlus Program to an effective implementation of the program plan, under the supervision of the Head of Compliance and ERM.
The responsibilities will, amongst other things, include:

- Overseeing the program’s governance framework, which includes the CompassPlus Steering Committee, to ensure proactive management and escalation of risks and issues.
- Ensuring seamless integration and alignment across all seven workstreams, anticipating challenges and diligently mitigating risks.
- Providing high-level reporting to senior leadership and ExCom, articulating program progress, strategic risks, and necessary course corrections.
- Optimizing resource planning, ensuring effective allocation of both internal and external resources, and stepping in to address critical resourcing gaps if needed.
- Overseeing global training, communication, and capability-building initiatives, ensuring Carlsberg employees are equipped to sustain the transformation post-program completion.
What we’re looking for
- Experienced in directing impactful transformation initiatives within governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), legal, finance, or internal audit in a global corporate environment.
- Executive stakeholder engagement experience, with the ability to guide senior leadership and risk committees.
- Skilled in translating strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, ensuring alignment across multiple business units and functions.
- Extensive experience in program governance, risk management, and enterprise-wide adoption of new systems and processes.
- Achievement in embedding change within multinational organisations, particularly across diverse compliance, risk, and finance functions.
- Proficient financial acumen, with experience managing multi-million DKK budgets and optimising resource allocation.
- Ability to align cross-functional teams across Legal & Compliance, ERM, Internal Audit, Finance, and IIT, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
- Effective relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration across the three lines of defense, and ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
- Experience in working across diverse stakeholder groups, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and responsiveness to changing needs.
