We are looking for an IT Portfolio Manager to oversee our IT projects as we drive technology enablement and transformation at Carlsberg.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of the IT PMO for Western Europe, alongside six experienced project managers. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the portfolio of all system-related projects within Carlsberg Western Europe. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Portfolio planning, and assisting the intake and demand management process to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities
• Managing and monitoring the portfolio, assessing its status, tracking progress, and producing reports.
• Identifying and addressing portfolio risks and issues.
• Formulating recommendations for presentation to Decision Boards.
• Supporting projects and programmes to ensure adherence to the Carlsberg stage-gate model and other guidelines.
• Managing cross-project dependencies, ensuring that interdependencies between projects and programmes are identified, tracked, and managed effectively.
• Supporting the transformation into an agile and product-centric organization.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience from a similar position in a global company or consultancy.
• History of effective project and portfolio management.
• Solid toolset and a relevant project/portfolio management certification.
• Proficiency in engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Skilled in analytical processes, organization, and finding solutions; able to handle several projects simultaneously.
• Able to explain complicated IT stuff in a simple way.
• Experience with IT governance frameworks and processes.
• Experience moving from waterfall (projects) to agile (products) is highly appreciated.
