Policy and Compliance Engagement Manager
The Policy and Compliance Engagement Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing Carlsberg’s Code of Ethics and Conduct (‘The Code’), Global Policy and Compliance framework. The role involves ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies while also establishing a culture of compliance across all functions and markets. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to oversee clear policy governance, ensuring policy updates, communications and training interventions are in place to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
What you’ll be doing
Your primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Manage a consistent Code and policy framework, ensuring robust governance over the Code and global policies (Policy House framework).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Code and global policy engagement-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure regular reviews and updates to policies to reflect changes in regulations, industry standards, and Carlsberg’s risk appetite.
- Collaborate with policy owners/Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and senior stakeholders, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate and oversee global programmatic compliance & mitigation interventions and maintain oversight over all mandatory Code and global policy engagement activities.
- Provide coaching and advice on innovative engagement tools, communications and training interventions to enhance policy understanding and effectiveness.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, laws, and standards relevant to the organization’s operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to successfully engage and influence stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on developing practical solutions to compliance challenges.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and a priority to promote a culture of integrity and compliance.
- Proficiency in using innovative learning and engagement software tools.
- A passionate approach and ability to cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment
- A team-oriented professional with a collaborative mindset, able to inspire innovation and willing to work across time zones
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
