The Purpose of the Position Fleet Administrator Region WE is to oversee and coordinate the leasing contracts, maintenance, and operation of a company's vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

 

The position will be based in WE region. The required skills & competencies to succeed in this role are:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good IT skills (MS Office applications, and SAP)
  • Very good communication and team skills as well as a goal-oriented and independent way of working

Functional competencies:

 

  • Expertise in vehicle maintenance  and disposal; cost management; data analysis and effective communication and leadership skills.

 

Experience/ Education

  • Relevant education within Supply Chain Management
  • At least three years of supervisory experience in the supply chain, ideally interacting across departments
  • Experience in the field of sustainability/ alternative fuel sources and reduction of Carbon Footprint
  • Experience of dealing with international stakeholders within a modern matrix organization
  • Strong analytical thinking, ability to interrogate systems, and apply analytical problem solving methodology to day to day problems.

 

Language:

 

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Market Oversight:

  • Take responsibility for fleet management across multiple Western European markets.
  • Ensure the fleet in each country is maintained and updated accurately in the system.

 

Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage monthly budget reports.
  • Handle the annual budgeting process for the fleet.
  • Pay invoices from service providers promptly and accurately.

 

Fleet Planning:

  • Develop and implement fleet order and renewal plans.
  • Provide support to markets during the delivery of new equipment.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of the fleet in the system.

 

Supplier Management:

  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Support tender processes and manage contracts with service providers.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Generate monthly and annual fleet reports.
  • Ensure all fleet-related documentation is complete and up-to-date.

 

General Fleet Management Tasks:

  • Oversee fleet maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Optimize fleet performance and cost efficiency.
