Role overview
 

The position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into Procurement and Supply Chain areas where you can play an important role in operational and strategic decision-making processes. You will drive the financial operations together with a team of finance experts supporting the Western Europe Procurement Department located in Switzerland.  The scope of our team's responsibility is a wide range of Packaging and Raw materials used in Production, globally purchased POS materials, and 3PP (Third Party Products) portfolio. The main focus area for us is Planning & Forecasting of E2E Finance Procurement results and reporting and closing activities focused on results analysis, commenting, and data presentation.

 

  

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Being the financial advisor and co-pilot for our Procurement Team
  • Playing a critical role in budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment between stakeholders in the E2E process
  • Driving monthly closing activities, securing transparency and accuracy of reported data
  • Troubleshoot problems that could adversely influence Procurement performance results and proactively use problem-solving techniques to rectify
  • Securing early warning and escalation where plans are off track to identify and collaboratively address deviations between “actuals and plan”
  • Coordination of activities to identify and execute saving initiatives
  • Supporting Finance and Procurement Teams & key stakeholders with ad hoc analysis as part of projects or operations
  • Ensuring financial processes run flawlessly and with high-quality

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • at least 3 years of professional experience in Controlling;
  • a good knowledge of financial controlling processes and data analysis;
  • good communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization;
  • proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • advanced hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI will be an asset)
  • experience in working with SAP or other ERP systems;
  • proven analytical skills
