SUPPLIER ENABLEMENT SPECIALIST, POZNAŃ 

 

Role overview 

The Supplier Enablement Specialist is part of the Western Europe Procurement Team located in the Carlsberg Shared Service in Poznań. The main purpose of the position is to support supplier integration via SAP Business Network or EDI and catalogues implementation across Western Europe Markets.   

 

What you’ll be doing   

  • Establishing contact with suppliers to onboard them into company systems (e.g., procurement or financial platforms)
  • Ensuring suppliers understand technical and procedural requirements
  • Coordinating the submission of documents, such as certifications, contracts, or banking details
  • Conducting training sessions or providing educational materials on using company tools
  • Responding to supplier queries and resolving technical issues
  • Working closely with procurement, IT, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth processes
  • Communicating the status of supplier onboarding and potential issues to relevant teams
  • Monitoring supplier performance after onboarding and identifying areas for improvement
  • Implementing enhancements in the onboarding process, such as automation.
  • Maintaining accurate records of the supplier onboarding process
  • Generating reports for analysis and presenting results
  • Ensuring that all suppliers adhere to company policies and local/regional regulations
  • Creating, configuring, and maintaining connections between the ERP/procurement system and supplier platforms
  • Ensuring that catalogues comply with the company’s technical requirements (e.g., data formats, product structure, correct category mapping).
  • Verifying suppliers’ technical capabilities to handle catalogues
  • Coordinating the integration process with the company’s system, including testing and implementation of catalogues
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing updates of offers and resolution of any issues
  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to access, catalogue errors, or integration problems
  • Updating data in catalogues, such as prices, product descriptions, or availability
  • Monitoring the usage of catalogues by end-users
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of catalogues (e.g., savings, compliance with procurement policies)
  • Implementing improvements based on usage data and feedback
  • Providing support to employees using the catalogues (instructions, training)
  • Educating procurement teams on the benefits and effective use of catalogues

 

What we’re looking for  

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree (Procurement or Supply Chain major will be a strong asset)
  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High focus on details and on-time delivery
  • High sense of change management
  • Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a dynamic environment
  • Desire and motivation to improve and look for better solutions
  • Ability to challenge the poor solution, and convince for a smarter and more efficient one
  • Results-oriented, has the ability to operate in a fast paced environment, with continuous improvement in focus.
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability in interpersonal relations
  • Ability to build and establish a good working relationship within the team and to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to manage time well and stress resistance
  • Basic IT experience with Word, Excel (advanced usage), and PowerPoint
  • Preferably: Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba)
