The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) in Switzerland integrates a number of central functions in the Carlsberg Group: H&S, Quality, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Planning. Group H&S is developing, communicating and driving an effective coordinated H&S Strategy for ISC and commercial teams. Group ISC manages the brewery network, handles the global procurement processes, sets the global standards for quality, brewing technology, ensures end-to-end planning and aims to deliver world-class logistics and customer service.

The purpose of the position VP ISC Operations & Performance WE role will be focused on day-to-day brewery and CSC activities and on delivery of KPIs, VIPEX findings and Loss Cost Tree initiatives in markets. Also to Support all countries ISC VPs / market SC Directors to deliver local plans, efficiency and savings targets
The job holder own and deploy global standards of Carlsberg Excellence and Foundations including continuously improve Health & Safety, Quality, Environment standards.
In this role, you will drive “best practice” sharing across markets to deliver efficiency targets
Also to support the local ISC teams to develop capabilities and next generations of Sc talents, together with Countries Excellence teams and Regional Functional leads

Key responsibilities:
- Drives a continuous improvement program to develop the performance and efficiencies targets for the region –
- Leads the Loss Cost Tree agenda for the Region, implementing initiatives with market teams at local level to both build capabilities across the markets and achieve the savings opportunities
- Implement VIPEX findings , in partnership with the Regional commercial team
- Supports the development of country Sc talents and facilitate cross countries / region exchanges
- Drives operations and manages best practices with a strong emphasis on manufacturing efficiencies, loss eradication and optimal asset utilization; ensures appropriate development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment, and products in support of Carlsberg’s strategy.
- Drive operations and manage best practices in logistics operations with a strong focus on efficiencies and loss eradications.
- Drive continuous improvement of the Supply Chain operations through effective use of Carlsberg Excellence Methodologies to eliminate waste and non-value-added activities across all aspects of the supply chain
- Ensures all Carlsberg standard methods, tools and process are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements.
- To lead and support the E2E Carlsberg Excellence Implementation for a defined function of breweries and customer supply chain operations.
- Train, Coach and Assess the implementation of the full Carlsberg Excellence Journey including foundations and all pillars.
- Support breweries and customer supply chain to elaborate their CBN/3YP and yearly Policy Deployment and drive necessary actions to deliver short term targets. Ensure that the Focused Improvement cycle is fully understood and followed with clear identification of priorities, full eradication of losses and setting standards to prevent recurrence.
- Promotes implementation of standards, continuous internal and external benchmarking and best practices sharing
- Supports actively the continuous development of the Carlsberg Excellence Journey and its deployment training to the local leadership teams, ensuring a clear view of the organizational needs on each maturity phase.
Key Skills:
- University degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Biological or Food or Supply Chain Sciences).
- 10 years plus international experience (at least 2 different markets) in a leadership role within a production and logistics environment or similar experience
- Brewing / Beverages experience a must plus Supply Chain Excellence and Capabilities experience
- People Management of at least an Org with 100+ employees in FMCG Food/Beverages area
- Proven experience in managing budgets and investments, driving change initiatives and delivering performance improvements through Carlsberg excellence methodologies
- Fluent in English
