Role Overview
Are you ready to shape the ISC strategic agenda and drive execution at Carlsberg? We are seeking a Director of Business Strategy ISC at Group level to act as a trusted advisor and thought partner and integrator- connecting priorities, people, and processes to enable high performance and clarity of direction. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, senior leadership environment and who can balance analytical rigour with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
- Lead the development, alignment, and communication of the global supply chain strategy, ensuring clear translation into priorities and execution plans.
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives and transformation programmes, ensuring momentum, governance, and measurable outcomes.
- Prepare strategic analyses, scenarios, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Trusted advisor to the EVP Supply Chain and Supply Chain leadership
- Serve as the strategic advisor to the EVP Supply Chain and leadership, providing insight, challenge, and recommendations on key decisions.
- Manage the operating rhythm of the function, including leadership team meetings, offsites, and strategic checkpoints.
- Anticipate needs, surface issues early, and ensure the EVP is fully briefed and prepared for key engagements.
- Represent the EVP in selected meetings, forums, and cross-functional interactions.
Executive & Board-Level Coordination
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and strategic coherence across all presentations and submissions.
- Lead the planning of high-quality materials for the Executive Committee, Supervisory Board, and global governance forums.
- Bring together inputs from senior leaders across markets, breweries, and global functions.
Leadership Team Enablement
- Drive alignment and collaboration across the Supply Chain Leadership Team (ISC-LT).
- Ensure follow-through on decisions, actions, and commitments.
- Facilitate effective communication, transparency, and engagement across the global supply chain organisation.
- Digital & Capability Enablement
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Develop and execute communication plans that reinforce clarity, purpose, and engagement across internal and external stakeholders.
- Craft compelling narratives, messages, and materials that bring strategy to life.
- Build strong relationships across markets, functions, and senior leadership to ensure seamless coordination and influence.
- Governance & Stakeholder Engagements

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, global environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting cross-functional and global initiatives.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or supply chain analytics tools.
- Familiarity with digital supply chain tools, planning systems, ERP, or operational performance metrics.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership

Experience:
- +10 years of experience in supply chain strategy development, transformations and program management
- Experience supporting cross-functional and global initiatives.
- Management or business analytics, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
Education:
- BA/ Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
Languages:
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
