Play a Key Role in Turning Data into Action for Carlsberg’s Growth Journey

Carlsberg’s 2032 growth strategy requires stronger data-led portfolio execution across markets. This role exists to provide the analytical depth, connected data, and ongoing KPI tracking needed to support disciplined execution at scale.

If you are passionate about turning complex data into simple, actionable insights and enabling smarter decisions across markets, this is the opportunity for you!

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Perform In-Depth Data Analysis Including Leveraging AI:
Analyze and connect multiple data sources — including consumer studies (Demand Spaces), continuous research (e.g., BHT, Nielsen), internal financial data — to generate clear insights and actionable recommendations. Work comfortably with raw data using modern analytics tools and AI to speed up analysis, build models, and simplify complexity.
  • Connect Data Cross-Functionally:
Collaborate with Group IT, Global Media, and the broader I&A team (including Marketing Mix Modeling and Shopper insights) to connect data sources and deliver maximum impact at country level. This means shaping portfolio choices for the right channels, with the right commercial support.
  • Track Portfolio & Brand Architecture KPIs:
Define and monitor key KPIs across top markets, highlight successes, identify gaps, and support global and local teams in making stronger portfolio decisions over time.
  • Provide Competitive Intelligence:
Track portfolio moves, strategic launches, and competitive shifts (e.g., ABI, Heineken) using external sources such as Mintel and internal analysis. Share actionable updates with Group I&A stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

You combine analytical rigor with curiosity and a knack for storytelling — turning complex data into clarity that drives business impact.

Experience:

  • Experience in Insights & Analytics or a similar analytical role, preferably in FMCG
  • Experience working with multiple data sources (consumer, commercial, financial)

Must-haves:

  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables) and experience in Power BI
  • Comfort with modern AI tools to support analysis and build custom models
  • Proven track record working with large datasets and integrating multiple data sources (consumer, commercial, financial)
  • Ability to connect and interpret data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in KPI tracking and performance analysis

Personal qualities:

  • Strategic and commercially curious mindset
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Self-starter who takes proactive ownership
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Language requirement:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
