Global Marketing Manager – Carlsberg Global Brand Team

12-month maternity cover (with possibility to extend)

This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact global role with broad exposure across senior leadership, Centres of Excellence, and priority markets.

 

What you’ll be doing


Your primary tasks and responsibilities include:

 

Drive Global Brand Growth

  • Lead 2–3 key markets, partnering closely with regional and local teams to deliver strong brand performance.
  • Support global brand strategy, long-range planning, and the annual 3-year integrated planning cycle.
  • Champion consumer insights, market trends, and brand performance to shape future work.

 

Lead Brand Communication & Global Campaign Development

  • Contribute to the development of global brand communications, including creative platforms, campaign toolkits, and in-market guardrails.
  • Manage agency partners end-to-end: briefing, creative development, production, and evaluation.
  • Ensure all assets bring our Brand World to life with consistency and excellence across channels (digital, social, film, OOH, experiential, PR, events).

 

 

Strengthen the Global Brand World & Sponsorship Activation

  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring strong, consistent visual identity execution across markets.
  • Support development of communication assets linked to our major global sponsorships (e.g., football platforms, partners).
  • Build repeatable models and share best practices across the global brand community.

 

Global Community Leadership

  • Lead market workshops, global community sessions, and internal forums that inspire and align teams around the brand agenda.
  • Work cross-functionally with Insights, Creative Experience, Digital & Media, Global Sponsorship, and Finance.
  • Support preparation of senior-level communications, including CMO/ExCom updates.

 

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Manage brand budgets, ensuring clear prioritisation and efficient spend.
  • Use market, financial, and brand data to spot opportunities, build business cases, and shape decisions.
  • Navigate a matrix organisation effectively, influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

 

What we’re looking for

 

Experience & Capabilities

  • Brand Management Expertise: Minimum 5+ years in brand management or strategic marketing, ideally within international FMCG. We will consider candidates from other relevant or similarly competitive categories.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering integrated campaigns that drive growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to move seamlessly from strategy to execution.
  • Commercially sharp with experience in budget ownership.
  • Confident leading agency teams and complex project portfolios.
  • Strong communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and articulate ideas clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced global matrix organisation.
