Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Strategic Finance

 

Are you ready to lead and inspire the FP&A function at Carlsberg? This is an opportunity to drive strategic impact, develop a high-performing team, and present insights at the highest executive levels.

 

The Head of FP&A will report to the VP Business Planning and Analysis, working closely with ExCom, Regional CFO’s and the Group CFO. 

  

What you’ll be doing

 

As Head of FP&A and Strategic Finance, you will lead an FP&A Team to: 

  • Demonstrate big-picture thinking and storytelling, presenting findings with clarity and impact. 
  • Deliver comprehensive analytics and insights that present an impartial view of business risks and opportunities, enabling informed choices for immediate actions as well as long-term strategies.  
  • Distill key messages and insights from complex data to guide executive decisions. 
  • Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering higher-level thinking and strong leadership skills.  Promote skill development within the team to achieve multinational standards.  
  • Partner with Finance Transformation for continuous improvement in processes to drive simplification, speed and standardization. 
  • Lead the financial component of key strategic projects, including some M&A initiatives, bringing both financial and strategic acumen. 

 

What we’re looking for

Professional background and qualifications should cover:

  • Significant experience in the finance function (10- 15 years), preferably within large multinational organizations. 
  • Strong FP&A skills with a focus on business strategy and financial performance. 
  • Preference for candidates with comprehensive experience in business partnering, financial reporting, cost management, and FP&A, as well as exposure to various markets, regions, organizational levels, and stakeholder management. 
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and a talent for extracting key messages. 
  • Strategic mindset and an ability to use data to drive strategic decision-making at the most senior level. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with demonstrated executive presence. 
  • Strong leadership and team development skills. 
  • Exposure to strategic projects, including M&A, is highly beneficial.
