What you’ll be doing
As our Learning & Development Director, you'll be at the heart of our mission to cultivate a thriving workforce. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation, leadership, and collaboration across the company.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and delivering leadership development interventions that build the mindsets and competencies fuelling our growth culture.
- Setting the standard on L&D practices globally, defining the framework in which global and local programs coexist while building globally aligned employee experience.
- Driving technology enabled solutions for managing and delivering learning solutions, as well as collecting data and generating insights.
- Driving a learning culture across Carlsberg Group in alignment with Growth Culture.
- Facilitating the connection between the different “learning academies” in Carlsberg building a global L&D community across functions.
- Designing and managing the development and delivery of complex learning and development (L&D) programs (e.g., leadership development) to meet individual and organizational learning needs within specified timescales and resources; identify and incorporate appropriate L&D methodologies and delivery channels; oversee the development of content to support high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Leading, coaching and developing a small team, providing clarity on the connection of L&D plans to the wider people strategy and culture journey.
- Developing and delivering budget plans in partnership with other senior colleagues, providing timely guidance to markets.
- Selecting and managing external partners or advisers to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure that business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes.
- Implementing and scaling digital learning platforms and resources driving global adoption.
What we’re looking for
To excel in this role, you'll need a blend of strategic vision, leadership prowess, and a deep understanding of talent management. We're looking for someone who embodies the following qualities:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, global Learning & Development (L&D) projects.
- Proven track record of leading multi-year initiatives to cultivate a learning culture within a global organization.
- Proficiency in L&D program design.
- Strong understanding of L&D tech solutions.
- Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
- HR Analytics and talent insights overview.
- Strong presentation and facilitation capabilities.
- Critical thinking capabilities
- Experience in managing ambiguity and navigating complex situations.
- Strategic thinking
- Proactiveness in driving initiatives forward while engaging and motivating others.
- Commitment to continuous learning through experimentation, leveraging both successes and failures.
- Dedication to developing individuals to achieve both their career aspirations and organizational objectives.
