Group Legal & Compliance at Carlsberg Breweries A/S is offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Student Assistant, combining meaningful responsibilities with flexibility to support your academic commitments.
Group Legal & Compliance is part of Carlsberg Breweries A/S, an international organization with highly specialized legal professionals. As our new Legal Student Assistant, you will join an ambitious and dynamic international department characterized by close collaboration, trust, and an inclusive culture.
Together with two other student assistants, you will be part of a supportive student team that works closely together and regularly meets to align on tasks, discuss workload, and socialize.
In addition, you will become part of Carlsberg’s wider student network at Head Office, consisting of approximately 70 student assistants with diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Your Responsibilities
You will support our in-house lawyers and colleagues across markets on a variety of legal, corporate, and compliance-related matters. Your tasks will include, among others:
- Managing and maintaining Carlsberg’s Legal SharePoint
- Contract administration and archiving
- Assisting with trade sanctions screening
- Handling notarizations, legalizations, and visa applications
- Providing administrative and legal support on intellectual property matters
- Drafting Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Competition law monitoring and tracking
- Legal research and analysis
- Various ad hoc and cross-functional support tasks within Legal & Compliance
The expected workload is 15–20 hours per week, typically spread across three working days, with a high degree of flexibility to accommodate exams and holidays.
Your Profile
We are looking for a motivated and engaged student who:
- Is currently enrolled at a university (preferably BA.jur., HA(jur.) or similar)
- Is preferably in their 1st or 2nd year of studies
- Has a structured and detail-oriented approach to work
- Is able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Is a positive and reliable colleague with a good sense of humour
- Is fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken (English is our corporate language)
