Short Term Assignment for 6 months with a possibility to extend

 

Are you ready to shape the future of media operations at Carlsberg and ensure our global media investments deliver maximum growth and effectiveness?
We’re looking for a strategic and operational leader to own and continuously evolve Carlsberg’s global paid media operating system. This role ensures that processes, systems, governance, and agency partnerships enable markets to plan, buy, and measure media effectively—driving incremental growth, capital efficiency, and responsible media practices across the Group.

You’ll work at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology, embedding AI-native, future-ready operations and building a globally aligned model that empowers local agility.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Design and evolve the global paid media operating model, including standards, taxonomies, dashboards, sufficiency benchmarks, and best practice frameworks.
  • Oversee adoption of global media operations standards across all markets, ensuring consistency and compliance in planning, buying, reporting, and optimization.
  • Drive identification and scaling of best practices across markets and agencies, embedding proven approaches into global standards.
  • Collaborate with local marketing & media teams and agencies, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and capability-building to sustain operational excellence.
  • Own governance and performance management of the global media agency ecosystem, aligning incentives, accountability, and best practice adoption with growth outcomes.
  • Embed responsible media practices across all markets, covering brand safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with Procurement, IIT, and Insights & Analytics to integrate contracts, tools, and data governance standards, ensuring clean, connected, and future-proof data flows.
  • Anticipate future needs by automating workflows, enabling AI-driven processes, and piloting new operational models to prepare for next-generation media operations.
  • Establish operating rhythms and accountability frameworks between global and local teams.
  • Build visibility for leadership through consolidated dashboards on sufficiency, performance, and effectiveness across markets and agencies.

 

 

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a strategic operator and change leader who can simplify complexity, scale best practices, and prepare Carlsberg for the future of media operations.

 

Must-Haves

  • Proven experience in media operations, governance, or performance management within a global or regional context.
  • Strong commercial mindset with ability to embed sufficiency, incrementality, and capital efficiency into investment decisions.
  • Data and AI literacy, with comfort in dashboards, data governance, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Courage to challenge inefficiencies and elevate accountability across partners.
  • Excellent cross-cultural collaboration skills, with experience working in global–local matrix environments.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
