Role overview

Carlsberg Export&License has an ambitious growth strategy in Travel Retail and Western Europe and is looking for a dynamic personality with strong marketing and sales skills. You will be responsible for a group of selected Export & License markets and customers in Western Europe and Duty Free channels, where you will be supporting the profitability and volume growth of our highly successful portfolio of global and local brands in close cooperation with the customer or local partner

 

What you’ll be doing

  • You are offered an opportunity to support the long-term profitable growth within Western Europe markets and Duty Free customers.
  • You will be responsible for developing & driving CE&L’s projects, brands, and growth across your markets, partners, and customers.
  • You will have PnL responsibility for your customers and markets and therefore in charge of proposing budgets, facilitating brand planning processes, setting up business cases for growth, managing sourcing/export workstreams, launching innovation projects, and driving contract maintenance with support from our legal team, etc
  • Together with your internal stakeholders within Carlsberg Export&License and Carlsberg Group and with our local partner, you will be responsible for developing & driving CE&L’s projects in the region, and most importantly, you will be responsible for securing growth of the existing portfolio, launching new brands, and ensuring that Carlsberg brands are marketed according to the corporate guidelines and agreements.

 

What we’re looking for

We expect you to combine a master-degree within Sales, Marketing, or Business Management with a couple of years’ experience within Beverage or FMCG.

Experience in Travel Retail or Duty Free channels is a big plus.

Ideally, you are based in Denmark.

As a person, you must be strong in communication, self-driven, and action/result-oriented. We are looking for a person who is effective at building business partnership relations and possesses good negotiation skills. A true team player with strong strategic sales/marketing and project management competencies to create and deliver new opportunities for our beverage brands.

You have a high work capacity with a low stress level. You are fluent in English and can travel up to 100 days a year within Europe (mainly UK and Scandinavian countries).

Even when things get tough, you stay positive, proactive and maintain the helicopter perspective, knowing you have the details under control.
