We are seeking an experienced Product Owner for Financial Planning to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring alignment with business goals for our global Financial Planning product (revenue, cash flow, volume, opex, capex, etc…). You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and rollouts that enhance user satisfaction and drive business success across nearly all of our markets around the globe.
What you’ll be doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to align with business goals.
- Roll-out: Create the template together with Group Finance and roll-out globally.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring their needs are met.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects stakeholder needs and business value.
- User Stories Development: Write clear and actionable user stories that guide the development team.
- Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings to ensure the team understands priorities and goals.
- Acceptance Criteria: Define acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure they are met before release.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse product performance metrics and user feedback to inform future iterations.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to inform product decisions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project achievement
What we’re looking for
We are seeking an engaged professional with Finance domain experience. In addition to this, to be successful in the role, we imagine that you possess:
- Experience working with Financial planning processes or using Anaplan
- Solid experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a global company.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English
- Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret data and user feedback.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams).
- Experience with product roadmap tools and analytics software (e.g., Power BI).
- CPG or FMCG supply chain experience will be beneficial.
