As the Senior Global Sales Execution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and embedding an effective, scalable Sales Execution capability across the Group.

 

In an increasingly competitive and dynamic market environment, winning at the point of execution is critical — and this role is at the heart of enabling that success.

With a truly global remit, you will be responsible for driving capability development across a diverse set of markets and regions. You will partner with local, regional, and global stakeholders to elevate Sales Execution standards, implement best practices, and ensure a consistent and effective go-to-market approach.

 

Sales Execution is a critical growth enabler for the Carlsberg Group. This role supports the delivery of a category-, portfolio-, and brand-led approach that creates value for our business, our customers, shoppers, and consumers. Results in this role will be assessed based on improved commercial performance and the establishment of a culture where Sales Execution is recognized as a key driver of competitive advantage.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

As an inspirational senior manager in Group Sales Execution, you will be at the forefront of delivering our Accelerate FIT agenda. With extensive commercial acumen and deep frontline understanding, you will embed high-standard Sales Execution capabilities and manage sustainable performance across global markets.

 

Your core focus areas include:

  • Implement and embed the Carlsberg Sales Execution program – FIT.
  • Elevate FIT Program through the FIT Fundamental Assessment, identifying market maturity, execution gaps, and strategic priorities.
  • Support markets in building PICOS frameworks, benchmarking success factors, and establishing clear links between execution quality and financial outcomes.
  • Embed Image Recognition (IR) technology in markets, with a focus on expanding coverage, boosting efficiency, automating PICOS, and unlocking use cases.
  • Lead the adoption and integration of the One Metric Portal, our one-stop-shop execution hub at commercial meetings at markets and regional level.
  • Ignite a sales execution culture through initiatives like Getting FITter and FIT on the Ground, organizing frontline engagement and ownership.
  • Partner with Group Commercial L&D to define key Sales Execution competencies and co-develop scalable, impactful capability-building solutions.
  • Capture and scale market best practices, embedding proven FIT execution models and learnings across regions.

  • Leads with inspiration, fostering strong, trust-based relationships across functions and promoting open, two-way sharing of insights and best practices.
  • Demonstrates broad and deep commercial expertise, with the ability to connect strategy to execution.
  • Is relentlessly focused on driving mutual value for Carlsberg, our key categories and brands, and our customers and shoppers.
  • Has a passion for developing capability and competencies, both in self and others, to elevate executional excellence.
  • Adapts with agility to different market contexts, tailoring support to fit varying stages of development and maturity.
  • Brings a global mindset, with hands-on experience across both developed and developing markets, and an understanding of local nuances.
  • Acts as a collaborative team player, contributing actively beyond the immediate team to strengthen the broader Group Commercial agenda

 

Professional background and qualifications should also cover:

 

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of Senior Sales Leadership experience, ideally with full P&L understanding.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Deep knowledge in Sales Execution, with a solid grasp of frontline realities and key commercial drivers.
  • Cross-functional commercial experience (e.g., Marketing, Trade Marketing, Revenue Management) is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects,
  • Global exposure, with practical experience in developing markets, is an asset.
  • Highly developed Commercial skills
  • Well-developed Sales competencies across multiple channels and regions
  • Advanced Communication skills
  • Effective and inspirational leader
  • High ability to connect with and engage stakeholders
  • Self-starter but also able to collaborate across functions and markets/regions
  • Advanced people skills – ability to inspire and engage with others
  • Openness for extensive travel across Europe and Asia.
