Senior Manager, Creative Culture & Effectiveness – Carlsberg Group, Copenhagen
As part of Carlsberg Group’s newly created Creative & Experience team, the Senior Manager, Creative Culture & Effectiveness will play a pivotal role in our creative transformation within the wider marketing transformation for the growth agenda.
You will be the architect and driving force behind embedding creativity as a growth driver for our organization and portfolio of 150+ brands in Europe and Asia, under the team motto of ‘stay restless, aim higher, and push forward’. You will establish the culture, framework, platforms, forums, and tools that enable creativity to thrive, ensuring it becomes a daily practice across teams and geographies and that it is grounded on solid brand strategic foundations, steered, and celebrated.
What you’ll be doing
Creative Foundations
- Design, codify, and embed global creative frameworks, ensuring all teams share a common language, standards, and drive for creativity
- Partner with Brand, Insights, Media, and Commercial teams to ensure creativity is a consistent lever across all marketing and experience touchpoints
- Ensure creativity is grounded in solid, meaningful and distinctive brand strategic foundations
Creative Nurturing
- Build and lead programs that elevate creative capabilities across the organization (e.g., training, inspiration sessions, mentorship, creative councils)
- Partner with HR/L&D to embed creativity into leadership development, onboarding, and talent pathways
- Cultivate a learning culture by connecting internal teams with world-class external creative partners, agencies, and industry experts
Creative Steering
- Establish forums, councils, and review processes that provide constructive challenge and inspiration to brand teams and agency partners
- Identify potential barriers to our creative transformation journey and elaborate solutions to overcome them
- Ensure creative effectiveness is measured and linked to growth, leveraging data, best practices, and case studies
Creative Celebration
- Lead Carlsberg Group’s internal and external creative awards strategy, ensuring recognition for world-class work
- Build systems for sharing best-in-class case studies across markets, creating a culture of pride, inspiration, and healthy competition
- Partner with external organizations (e.g., Cannes Lions, Effie, Eurobest) to showcase Carlsberg’s creative excellence on the global stage
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years of senior marketing, brand, or creative leadership experience—ideally across FMCG, beverages, agency networks, or creative awards organizations
- Proficiency in building creative excellence and culture in a global, matrixed organization
- Deep understanding of creative effectiveness, with the ability to link creativity to business growth
- Experience in designing and rolling out frameworks, training programs, and governance platforms at scale
- Experienced network and credibility within the creative/marketing industry, with exposure to global awards and forums
- Inspirational leader with effective influencing skills, able to unite diverse stakeholders around a creative vision
