We are looking for a rare hybrid – a marketer with a passion for people and capability development to build and lead our global Marketing Academy, driving growth of marketing excellence across our international markets and Headquarters.

 

This role sits at the heart of our Group Marketing Excellence and transformation team and will play a vital part in embedding a consistent, modern, and impact-driven approach to developing our marketing talent worldwide.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and update the Global Marketing Academy vision and infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal Centers of Excellence and local markets to identify capability gaps and build aligned learning pathways.
  • Lead a dedicated team responsible for developing capability modules, working closely with external learning partners and content suppliers to deliver world-class learning experiences.
  • Ensure that all Marketing Academy content is coherent, consistent, and aligned with Carlsberg’s marketing philosophy.
  • Maintain one unified narrative of how we do marketing at Carlsberg.
  • Oversee the quality and relevance of all capability materials to ensure learning content stays modern and directly linked to business impact.
  • Act as a bridge between HR and Marketing, driving consistency across job descriptions, competency frameworks, and talent development plans.
  • Influence on the Graduate Programme for marketing globally and locally, ensuring it develops the next generation of marketing leaders.

 

  • Bring clarity, empathy, and transparency to career growth within marketing, helping employees see clear and inspiring paths for development.

 

What we’re looking for


We’re looking for a strategic and empathetic leader who combines deep marketing expertise with a genuine passion for developing people and teams.


You’ll succeed in this role if you:

 

  • Have a strong marketing background (e.g., Marketing Manager, or Marketing Director).
  • Understand marketing capabilities end-to-end and how they drive growth.
  • Have experience with learning design, talent development, or HR collaboration.
  • Are experienced in live facilitation of training programs.
  • Can convert global direction into a set of frameworks and training.
  • Are comfortable operating in a matrixed, international FMCG environment.
  • Are collaborative, articulate, and inspiring with the ability to lead with empathy.
