Senior Manager – Operations & Platforms

 

As part of Carlsberg Group’s newly createdCreative & Experience team, the Senior Manager - Ops & Platforms, will working closely with the Director of Operations & Agency Management to transform how our creative operating model performs at scale. You will help build, manage and scale an in-house creative and tech ecosystem that delivers world-class, effective creative and content across our global brand ecosystem 

 

This role is ideal for an experienced creative ops professional who loves getting stuck in, building strong relationships, solving complex practical puzzles, and turning transformation plans into measurable results. You’ll have a genuine passion for creative and brand, paired with a sharp mind for operational transformation, AI, creative project management best practice and modern creative platforms.  

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Lead creative tech, automation & AI roll out: Assess, select, implement and embed digital platforms, dynamic automation and generative AI into everyday workflows - improving creative impact, speed and scale. Working across brands, markets and IIT, you’ll ensure solutions are globally fit for purpose, adopted effectively and continuously optimised to deliver value. 
  • Drive operational rhythms & best practice: Set the operational drumbeat for the department. You’ll refine end-to-end ways of working: from intake and briefing frameworks to delivery standards and multi-market stakeholder management. 
  • Build and operate the in-house creative studio: Manage the scaling, and day-to-day running of our central in-house creative studio, alongside the Director of Ops. You’ll build a slick, scalable, effective, efficient, high-performing operation that partners directly with priority global brands and market teams. 
  • Manage operational budgets: Keeping a sharp eye on the numbers, you’ll handle the day-to-day operational budgets, tools and production costs ensuring they are balanced, trackable, and delivering clear ROI. 
  • Elevate creative effectiveness & studio performance: Use data to track operational health and business impact, including throughput, turnaround time, resource utilisation, asset reuse and savings - continuously improving performance, quality and efficiency 
  • Connect Teams & Enable Collaboration: Act as the operational connective tissue between central brand teams, markets, IIT, digital execution specialists and external agency and production partners - driving alignment, knowledge-sharing and adoption. 

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Creative tech & AI expertise Hands-on experience with selecting and implementing creative operations platforms (DAM, DCO, D2P workflow systems) and genuine enthusiasm and expertise for how AI tools are reshaping asset creation and workflow efficiency.  
  • In-house studio leadership: Proven track record running or significantly scaling an in-house creative studio or internal agency model within a matrix organisation or global brand context. 
  • Deep Production & Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience orchestrating complex, multi-channel creative projects from strategy through final asset execution. 
  • Agency experience and management: A background working within top-tier creative agencies or managing external agency rosters. You’ll understand how creative agency operations work from the inside out. 
  • A sharp creative eye & data mindset: A commitment to creative quality and brand consistency, combined with the ability to use performance data to inform decisions and improvements. 
  • Financial and commercial acumen: Direct experience managing operational and production budgets, identifying efficiencies and demonstrating value with accuracy and transparency. 
  • Tenacity & people skills: Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the resilience, pragmatism and optimism to navigate change, solve problems and build trust across diverse global teams.
