Then we have a challenging role that sits at Carlsberg’s global corporate head office in the heart of Copenhagen, working as Value Management Manager in the Customer & Value Management team.
Our Value Management (VM) team is a global function that aims to build revenue growth management capabilities, which we call VM across the commercial organization - above and in markets. Our focus is to implement programmes in the markets, to drive capability development, via tool implementation and change management. The VM levers are becoming more integrated (Pricing, Promotion, Trade Terms and Assortment/ Mix), why we are taking a new approach to VM. You will be part of a fun, ambitious and dynamic international team working with Group Commercial functions and markets across Europe and Asia. As a result, you will gain great level of exposure to different functions, markets, and stakeholders as well as solid VM knowledge (from Strategy to Execution and Embedment).
What you will be doing
This role is central to shaping and scaling VM as a key commercial growth driver across Carlberg Group. You will work closely with local and global stakeholders to co-create and implement VM programmes, supporting raising the capabilities and implementing advance solutions, unlocking tangible value through VM levers. As part of your responsibilities, you will:
- Co-create and continuously improve VM programmes, based on the markets’ feedback and aligning with their commercial strategy and priorities to ensure relevance, ownership, and tangible business impact.
- Drive rollout and embedment of VM advanced solutions and frameworks (e.g., price-pack architecture, promo analytics, pricing simulations), ensuring they translate into real commercial decisions and sustained impact.
- Partner with local teams from analytics to execution, bridging technical insights with actionable commercial plans.
- Own and drive the VM agenda for selected markets and channels, with a strong understanding of their commercial context, challenges and growth opportunities.
- Advance and scale VM capabilities across markets, standardising best practices while adapting to local complexity and maturity levels.
- Collaborate with IT, Insights, and external partners to enhance data, tools, and automation supporting VM decision-making.
- Leverage external benchmarks and best practices, bringing cutting-edge thinking into Carlsberg’s VM approach.
- Activate and engage the global VM community, fostering knowledge sharing and accelerating capability building across markets.
- Provide targeted support to markets, helping solve key commercial challenges and ensuring effective embedment of VM into the commercial cycle.
The Role engages Beer and Beverages Carlsberg portfolio, Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe, Asia, Cross-Functional – and will involve travelling when implementing programmes in markets. The Role is reporting to the Value Management Director.
What we’re looking for
- 5-8 years of experience in FMCG/ CPG in commercial roles. Experience in Commercial / Sales Development / Revenue Growth Management is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with proven track record.
- Experience with project management at different levels of the organisation.
- Good level of business acumen.
- Experience in change management, with embedment of processes and changing ways of working.
- Strong data structuring and analysis skills.
- Experience working with internal (e.g., P&L) and external (e.g., Nielsen) data structures.
- Self and result driven, highly organized, detail-oriented and must have aptitude for solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player who can work in tight timelines and deliver under pressure.
- Advanced English level both written and spoken.
- Experience in specific Value Management levers (Price-pack architecture / Pricing / Promo / Trade Terms) will be considered as an advantage.
- Experience in Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
