Fleet, Facilities & Excellence Trainee

What you will do — Key Responsibilities

You will join the Integrated Supply Chain function at our Induno Olona site and will be responsible for the company fleet and facilities across Italian sites, excluding the Induno Olona brewery, while supporting the Carlsberg Excellence agenda through cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement initiatives, 5S audits, documentation, and training activities. The role contributes to operational efficiency, cost control, supplier management, and the implementation of best practices across the organization.

Responsible for country fleet management, including third-party services:

• Define requirements and manage orders for new company cars or reallocations of the existing ones.
• Manage the external provider responsible for fleet administration.
• Monitor and manage fleet-related costs.
• Update fleet management documentation and KPIs

Responsible for facilities management across all Italian sites, excluding the brewery ‘site in Induno Olona:

• Coordinate facility maintenance and service interventions.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Manage contracts with facility-related suppliers.
• Purchase equipment and furniture.
• Define the facilities budget in collaboration with the Carlsberg Excellence Manager
• Identify cost-saving opportunities related to facilities, including potential site relocations or any other changes related to the offices currently used

Support the Carlsberg Excellence Manager in:

• Working cross-functionally with other departments and Group functions to demonstrate “one team winning” and ensure the best operational results.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and best practices.
• Conducting 5S audits in collaboration with the relevant departments.
• Preparing documentation and materials for operators.
• Provide training to all employees involved in Lean activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, economics
• 2/3 years’ experience within a supply chain or operation environment.
• Good Knowledge of Suite Microsoft
• Customer/Consumer Focus
• Cross-team interacting and communicating with impact
