Role overview

 

As Category Services Manager, you will be a key member of the WE Procurement leadership team and part of Carlsberg Supply Company AG (CSC), based in our Shared Service Center in Poznań. You will manage the integration and optimization of eSourcing, Contract Management, and Procurement Analytics across Western Europe, leveraging platforms such as Ariba Guided Sourcing, Ariba Contract Management, and Sievo.

 

You will be end-to end responsible for delivering the services to Country and Category Procurement teams. It is expected that you actively drive performance and development if team and individuals. This is a unique opportunity to shape digital procurement capabilities and deliver value through Ariba technology, data, and people leadership.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Growing and shaping the team
  • Building and maintaining the Ariba Sourcing system at the highest level
  • Managing international stakeholders
  • Cooperating with Local Procurement WE and CEE, Global Category Managers, Procurement Excellence, Procurement Team Asia, Group Legal, and Group Compliance
  • Recruiting and retaining high-caliber staff
  • Ensuring optimal deployment of resources and best practice sharing across the team to deliver on business goals
  • Motivating the team to reach individual and team objectives
  • Providing coaching, guidance, and support, setting professional development plans to assist employees to reach their full potential through the Performance Management process
  • Ensuring the team delivers the highest standard of departmental, cross-departmental, and cross-foundation teamwork and customer service

 

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a person who:

 

  • Has a Master’s Degree (Procurement, Supply Chain, or Economics)
  • Speaks fluent English
  • Has min. 3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Has minimum 4 years of experience in Procurement using Ariba (Sourcing, Contract Management); experience in FMCG in a similar position is an advantage
  • Has solid knowledge of Ariba modules and knowledge of Sievo
  • Experience with Word, Excel (advanced usage), and PowerPoint
  • Extensive Procurement tool experience (SAP SRM and Ariba)
  • Demonstrates solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates clear communication and presentation skills
  • Has strategic problem-solving capabilities in business and technology topics
  • Puts a high focus on details and on-time delivery
  • Has a methodical approach, fact-based argumentation, and change management
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of procurement processes & procurement Analytics
  • Has motivation and commitment to improve and look for better solutions
  • Develop teams and deliver through others
  • Is focused on continuously delivering very high-quality work
  • Shows ability to challenge the poor solution, and convince for a smarter and more efficient one
  • Is committed to delivering results and able to work efficiently in changing circumstances with an emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Shows consistent integrity and professional conduct in interpersonal relations
  • Shows ability to build and establish a good working relationship within the team and to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds
