Role overview
We are currently looking for an FP&A Analyst to support our CoE Supply Chain team with their expertise and skills.
The role of an FP&A Analyst includes:
- Supporting FP&A processes within the Supply Chain area.
- Collaborating with team members, market stakeholders, and colleagues from other CSS teams to ensure efficient execution of key processes such as Month-End Closing (MEC), management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Contributing to the development of standardized tools and driving process improvements that address business needs.
- Providing best practices and delivering effective solutions across supported areas.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborating closely with regional, market, and functional partners to understand data and analytical requirements
- Driving budget and estimate processes within Supply Chain, including participation in projects related to master data standardization and/or streamlining, executing master data updates, collecting inputs on planned sales and production volumes, contributing to cost planning and allocation, and reviewing and implementing upcharges to landed prices.
- Executing planning readiness activities - tools development for market & team purposes (within scope of expertise), data gathering and consolidation, analysis and reporting;
- Delivering Month-End Closing (MEC) activities, including WIP calculation, MCV analysis, cost allocation and variance calculation, and providing insights to explain production efficiency (e.g., fixed cost absorption, FX impact, internal reclassifications, excess capacity, material cost efficiency). Ensuring timely and high-quality preparation in line with Carlsberg standards, as well as securing reconciliation and providing technical support for the One Pager template.
- Providing financial reporting activities, including templates, tools, and processes aligned with CoE/Regional standards.
- Taking responsibility for Landed Price calculation, ensuring data transparency and accuracy, correct technical setup, and supporting ABC calculation.
- Supporting the NPD process through evaluation of the business case and contingency case simulations
- Engaging in effective communication with internal stakeholders, building strong relationships through regular updates and collaborative problem-solving;
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a colleague who:
- Holds a BA or Master’s degree
- Demonstrates proficient analytical skills
- Has gained experience in financial and performance management-driven environments
- Possessed an understanding of at least one functional area of the business (considered beneficial)
- Has general knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles
- Has worked with SAP, PBI, HFM or other data and analytics platforms
- Is proficient in Excel
