Role overview

 

The CoE Supply chain, currently consisting of 25 FP&A analysts, has been assembled to provide support in product costing & reporting processes as a centralized competence center for ISC and Local Supply Chain Companies in the Western Europe region. The main responsibilities of the team are executing product costing, month-end closing processes, financial planning & reporting, and supporting the local and central Finance Team in business-relevant analysis.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Working closely with region/ market / functional partners to understand the data and analytical requirements;
  • Managing budget and estimating processes within Supply Chain (participate in projects related to master data standardization and/or streamlining, run master data updates, collect inputs on planned sales and production volumes, participate in cost planning and cost allocation, review and implement upcharges to landed prices);
  • Executing planning readiness – tools development for market & team purposes (within scope of competency), data gathering and consolidation, analysis and reporting;
  • Delivering MEC activities – WIP calculation, MCV analysis, cost allocation and variance calculation, providing the insights that supports explanation of production efficiency such as: fixed cost absorption, FX impact, internal reclasses, excess capacity, material cost efficiency (prepared on time in the right quality and in compliance with Carlsberg standards), secure the reconciliation and technical support for One pager template;
  • Delivering financial reporting activities: templates, tools, and processes which are in line with CoE/Regional standards; ability to solve technical issues in the area of responsibility;
  • Being responsible for Landed Price calculation, ensuring data transparency and accuracy, correct technical setup, supporting ABC calculation, etc.;
  • Supporting the NPD process through evaluation of the business case and contingency case simulation;
  • Engaging in effective communication with internal stakeholders, establishing solid relationships through regular updates and collaborative problem-solving;
  • Aligning towards agreed priorities, promoting cross-team collaboration;
  • Understanding the importance of change and being ready to adapt (with a critical view);
  • Ensuring effective communication and stakeholder buy-in.

 

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has:

 

  • BA or Master’s degree
  • Analytical thinking
  • Experience from Financial and Performance management driven businesses (Carlsberg or other FMCG companies would be beneficial)
  • Understanding of minimum one functional area of the business as an advantage
  • General knowledge of IFRS and accounting
  • SAP, PBI, HFM, and other data and analytics platform
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Understanding of how to document and share the knowledge
